Water cleaning & recycling system for developing countries:

Calculated on a monthly cost of 32-38 SEK/2.8-3.4 GBP/4.5-5.3 USD/250-298 INR (due for example micro-credit loans) and that an adult earns on an average basis around 7–10 SEK/0.75–1.0 GBP/1-1.5 USD/55-78 INR per day gives the household an opportunity to bring in 135-200 SEK/12–18 GBP/19-28 USD/1.058-1.557 INR extra per month. Due the fact that a large part of people is earning around 7–10 SEK/0.75–1.0 GBP/1-1.5 USD/55-78 INR per day the monthly costs needs to be low. With the new innovative water cleaning and recycling system the woman in the households can contribute to the households economy by participate in other productive economic activities instead of collecting water every day and often several times per day.

Water cleaning & recycling system for industrial countries:

With normal banking loan the monthly cost would be between 600-815 SEK/55–75 GBP/83-114 USD/4.700-6.390 INR. The inventor presumes that states around the world need to subsidize the costs to clean water in a near future to avoid riots and domestic conflicts between farmers, industry and the public users. In Sweden for example an installation would use so called “ROTavdrag” or “House work allowance” up to 100.000 SEK/8.900 GBP/13.935 USD/784.254 INR for work to install the water cleaning and recycling system. In Sweden there are also a variety of filters and membranes to clean potable water from iron, radon, nitrate and humus etc. with price tags between; 7.000–25.000 SEK/623–2.225 GBP/976-3.485 USD/54.920-196.120 INR.

The need of funding - crowd funding:

Public funding: 200.000 SEK / 17.800 GBP / 27.933 USD / 1.562.860 INR Private funding: 1.000.000 SEK / 89.198 GBP / 139.922 USD / 7.787.394 INR Construction of the first physical prototype will be conducted in the city of Skellefteå (Sweden) in collaboration with a small company situated in the city of Skellefteå who is working professionally with sanitation, water heating and ventilation systems. The construction will be performed within the facilities of this company. The company name is “AB VVS & KYLTEKNIK NORD”.(www.vvskyl.se). The website is in Swedish.

During these activities the inventor will conduct a component and material survey in developing and semi-developing countries, to establish collaboration with production companies that can produce a similar physical prototype with materials and components manufactured and/or purchased within the pointed out countries. The idea is to produce one fully equipped scalable prototype in Sweden and then one-two low cost prototypes for trials and marketing activities in one or two developing countries that have severe water scarcity problems to deal with. The trial is for a period of minimum 6 months. Negotiations are now on the table with organizations and departments in Asia and Africa. With the fully equipped prototype in Sweden a similar prototype can be constructed with materials and components manufactured and/or purchased within in other western countries.

Who are the main customers?

¤ In western countries together with developing and semi-developing countries its single houses and households, summer or country houses situated in both in rural regions with water scarcity and within cities. For example Swedish customers are situated especially in the Island of Gotland, coastal municipals and the archipelagoes. Overall with severe water scarcity house owners can lose its property value – who can sell or want to buy a house without any water?

¤ Customers are also small compact house cabin suppliers for markets especially for students, young adults, none de jure staff in for example mining industry that tenders to lay in terrestrial regions, immigrants, unemployed people moving to major cities for work etc. They can be more mobile and adaptable to changes in the labour market or educational changes.

¤ Eco-villages on a global perspective who are focusing on environmental friendly building materials and sustainable living solutions. Many Eco-villages want to have locally adapted water & sanitation solutions. With this system they enable to be more water efficient.

¤ Single houses (lodges, cabins etc.) in developing countries with no internal water or waste water piping system, often no shower or kitchen sink/bench equipments or water toilette. Here the scalable solution can be fit with a simple portable shower cabin (where people can take a shower, wash hands and drop the dish waste water into the three chamber tank situated under the shower.

First steps...

I has today minimum 20 organizations in 8 countries where the first steps to establish collaboration have been conducted and where minimum 12 organizations have given a go for further steps to start up trials and by doing so start raise funding for these trials. Another 5-6 international organizations are interested.
